Day 1 Sun. Los Angeles
Board an evening international flight for Australia. (D)

Day 2 Mon. In Flight
Cross the international dateline and 'lose' a day.

Day 3 Tue. Arrive Sydney, Australia
Arrive in Sydney for transfer to your hotel. Meet your Tour Director tonight at a special Welcome Dinner.
Three Night Stay: Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. From your room, you will enjoy guaranteed views of Sydney Harbour and its magnificent Opera House. (BD)

Day 4 Wed. Sydney Harbour Cruise
See Hyde Park, Kings Cross and Bondi Beach as we tour the city. Join a luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour, then dine at the famous Opera House. (BLD)

Day 5 Thur. At Leisure in Sydney
Relax and enjoy Sydney at your own pace today. Perhaps take an optional sightseeing tour to Canberra or the Blue Mountains (own expense). (B)

Day 6 Fri. Melbourne, Tramcar Restaurant
Fly to Melbourne and enjoy a sightseeing tour before joining the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant for dinner.
Two Night Stay: Melbourne, Sheraton Towers Southgate, luxury on the vibrant riverfront. (BD)

Day 7 Sat. At Leisure in Melbourne
Perhaps take a tour along the Great Ocean Road or to see the penguins at Phillip Island (own expense). (B)

Day 8 Sun. Alice Springs
Fly to Alice Springs and take a tour on arrival, including the Royal Flying Doctor Base.

Day 9 Mon. Camel Farm, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), 'Sounds of Silence' at Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Try camel riding at a camel farm (own expense). Travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and visit
Kata Tjuta (Olgas). As the evening sun sets on Uluru (Ayers Rock), enjoy the 'Sounds of Silence' dinner.
Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort's premier hotel, Sails in the Desert. Luxury in the desert. (BD)

Day 10 Tue. Uluru (Ayers Rock), Cairns
Walk around the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock), viewing galleries of Aboriginal rock art before our flight
to tropical Cairns. Tour the city sights on arrival.
Accommodation: Cairns, Radisson Plaza Hotel at the Pier, right on the waterfront. (B)

Day 11 Wed. Dunk Island
We cruise to our island home for the next two nights, tropical Dunk Island. The afternoon is free to explore the island at your own pace.

Two Night Stay: Dunk Island, Garden Cabanas. (BD)

Day 12 Thur. Great Barrier Reef Cruise
The beauty of the Great Barrier Reef is a sight to behold as you spend the day at Beaver Cay. You can swim, snorkel and join the semi-submersible vessel to view the colorful coral and tropical fish. (BLD)

Day 13 Fri. Pamagirri Dancers, Wildlife, Scenic Kuranda Train, Cairns
Departing Dunk Island, we travel north and ride the Skyrail over the rain forest. See the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers perform, visit the wildlife park and ride the Scenic Kuranda Railway down the range.
Accommodation: Cairns, Radisson Plaza Hotel at the Pier, right on the waterfront. (BD)

Day 14 Sat. Los Angeles
A morning flight bound for the United States. Arrive in Los Angeles Saturday afternoon. (B and BL)
